Brighton's annual Great Escape festival has now announced its first batch of artists.
The last date to grab an Early Bird 3-day ticket at £45 is next Monday, February 3.
Taking place from May 8-10, the three-day festival will attract more than 18,000 music lovers to Brighton to see a vast array of different artists play in one of 35 venues.
Kelis will play at the Brighton Dome on Saturday May 10, with other artists named so far including Chloe Howl, Fat White Family, Blaenavon, Broken Twin, Femme, Marika Hackman, Matthew & the Atlas, Pawws, September Girls, and Slaves.
Festival Director, Kat Morris said: “This will be our 9th festival, and it really feels like the event has become stronger year on year. The Great Escape prides itself on showcasing the very best upcoming talent and we aim to produce a line-up which shows a true cross section of emerging artists, locally and internationally, and offer hundreds of incredible gigs, accessible to festival-goers with just one wristband. We’re really excited by how this years’ line-up is shaping up.”
Running alongside the festival is The Great Escape convention which will play host a variety of industry talks, panel debates, targeted networking sessions and keynote interviews for industry professionals and music business fans.
