Honing their sound over the last few years, Leeds’ Adult Jazz now unveil their debut single, a double A side 'Springful' / 'Am Gone'. And don't be fooled into thinking that given the band's name they could, and this is, anything remotely jazz influenced. What the four-piece deliver on both is a sparse and dreamy, blues-infused approach, and on 'Springful, for which they have just revealed an accompanying video, directed by Michael Battcock and Harry Burgess, which takes you on a somewhat surreal Herman Hesse-inspired journey.
Adult Jazz play Servant Jazz Quarters, London on February 5, followed by a hometown show at Leeds Wharf Cambers on 6th.
