After they emerged earlier this year with 'Carmine', Brighton-based four-piece Breathe Panel now share their new single ‘Sunrise/Sunshine’, released last week on FatCat Records.
The track - taken from their upcoming self-titled debut album due out on July 13 -utilises the best parts of Breathe Panel's dreamy, reverb-laden flowing melodies, jagged duel guitars, and sweetly melded vocal hooks from Nick Green.
“It’s a comment on how the unpredictable changes in nature can be beautiful and sometimes frustrating, and a reflection on how that can mirror in relationships between humans," say the band about the sub-three minute track. "We decided on this theme as we thought the guitar lines sounded like blooming flowers or plants with a constant underlying tension, so we went from there.”
