Jean Claude and The Eclairs are 'Crazy for You'

Words: Ali Mack

The Chicago-via-Kansas four-piece, Jean Claude and The Eclairs are said wryly to have adopted their moniker after lead singer Cooper J. Scott was visited by a famous Belgian actor eating the decadent French pastry in a dream and subsequently inspired to form Jean Claude and The Eclairs with college pals Steve Seyfarth (lead guitar), Garrison Krotz (bass), and Quinn Maetzold (drums) in Spring of last year.

Whatever the truth, The Eclairs have now baked two little delicacies:  their debut single 'Enzymes’  - reaching over
200,000 Spotify plays - and now its follow up, 'Crazy for You'.

The Eclairs, says Cooper, are "basically The Cars going to a dinner party and along the way they have a few fantastic meals with some great people from Hippo Campus and The 1975 for some creative inspiration." On 'Crazy for You', the indie pop-rockers give something of an example of this, melding 80s pop with a current indie rock twist, imbibed with foot-tapping melodies, drum machine and catchy chorus.

Let 'Crazy for You' melt on your lips below.
