** PREMIERE ** DAZE - Reformation
Words: Ellie Ward
Following the release of last summer’s debut ‘Friends’, and ‘Sleep Paralysis' from earlier this year, North London’s DAZE are back with their third killer dose of infectious indie-rock.
'Reformation' is out tomorrow (September 20), but Little Indie can offer you an early hearing in our exclusive premiere.
Driven by layers of echoing guitar, fuzz-filled hooks and deep, throbbing bassline, 'Reformation' is a dynamic number by the four-piece, that builds to an aural three and a half minutes of swirling, anthemic proportion.
"The song is about the end of a relationship where the one who has been invested is feeling abandoned and distraught, but eventually reforms into a better person after realising how toxic it was," says Sam Hong, who supplies the track's swooning vocals.
Tune in below - and then catch
DAZE live at their London headline show at The Shacklewell Arms on September 24.
DAZE are: Sam Hong (vocals, rhythm guitar), Luke Mayer (lead guitar), Santino De Lauri (bass, backing vocals), Oliver Brenner (drums)
