GROOVE LAGOON - BLUE BELL
The Auckland space-funk quartet follow their 'Dazed' EP with this swaying concoction that blends indie-rock with a reggae touch along with the funky soul-edged vocals of guitarist Joel Sunde. Catch live on January 5 2019 at Leigh Sawmill Cafe in Leigh, Auckland.
DAYA LEILANI - DAY TO LIGHT
The electronic pop teen from Byron Bay, New South Wales makes her debut here with this track that has garnered 10k online streams. With her next single already in line, a prospect to watch out for in 2019.
ELLIS HALL - COME OVER
The 20-year-old Sydney singer-songwriter released his debut EP 'The Road Ahead' at the start of 2017 after studying vocals and guitar at The Australian Institute of Music. This new bouncy number, unveiled just prior to Christmas, has with an indie pop persuasion has an infectious vibe that is hard to resist.
VANILLA GORILLA - TRIPPY
A catchy, trippy end year offering from the New South Wales indie rockers who impressed us this time last December with 'Love Is The Earth'. Taken from their 'Lucid EP, the four and a half minute track rolls on a rock 'n' psych groove.
CAPTIVES - RUNAWAY
The Melbourne quartet keep it sharp, fast and rockin' on this new cut after delivering their debut album 'Over The Rainbow' this year.
LADIA - FEEL THE SAME
Co-written with fellow Oz artist MDWS, this confident electro-pop debut single from the emerging Filipina singer-songwriter bssed on Queensland's Gold Coast, offers a shimmering mix of indie-pop and R&B, that is coupled with her exquisite vocals and clean production.
