News From Nowhere describe themselves as a 'psychedelic indie' band, but there's a lot of alt-folk too going on on this latest single from the Swansea quartet.
'Beaujolais Day', released on March 15, they say, was inspired by "a sleazy drinking street in our hometown". It's a fast-paced, dance-and-singalong number that could easily be imagined enjoyed with a glass of the said Beaujolais or two. Tom Emlyn's vocal is warming, and Billy Stillman provides the beat backbone to the two guitar and bass accompaniment.
