After a storming Great Escape last week, black midi now announce their debut full-length, 'Schlagenheim', to be released on June 21 via Rough Trade Records.
The album by the London outfitwas recorded with Speedy Wunderground producer Dan Carey, who the band praises for his quick, unfussy approach. black midi laid down eight of the record’s nine tracks in just five days.
The four - Geordie Greep (vocals, guitar), Matt Kwasniewski Kelvin (vocals, guitar), Cameron Picton (vocals, bass), and Morgan Simpson (drums) - will also be playing a secret show tonight (May 14) in North East London.
