'Don't Ask Me Twice' say Porridge Radio

Words: Ellie Ward

Beginning as a solo bedroom project in 2012, London-via-Brighton's Porridge Radio, now expanded to a four-piece, share new single 'Don’t Ask Me Twice' ahead of next week's Brighton shows.

Following last month's 'Give/Take', the post-punk band once again hone furiously intense guitars with hypnotic drums, coupled with Dana Margolin's intimidating vocal delivery.

"'Don't Ask Me Twice' is one of our favourite songs to play live because somehow every time it carries this huge chaotic energy," says Margolin. "It's fun, but terrifying, and always feels like everything is going to collapse. There's a lot of joy in it, but I love how it's also full of fear and confusion."
