Listen :: Bad Breeding - Theatre Of Work
Words: Sam Geary
Stevenage noise-makers Bad Breeding have unveiled their politically-charged new track, ‘Theatre of Work’.
Taken from their imminent third album, 'Exiled', out June 21 via One Little Indian Records, the inciendiery track - which features guest saxophone from Lewis Evans - explodes out of the blocks with a rabid and menacing force with squalls of guitar feedback accompanying Christopher Dodd’s cutting vical delivery.
The song, says Dodd, “explores the theatre of being tied to agency work and zero-hours contracts, dogged by insecurity, stripped of confidence and laid bare to the laughable fatalism of being exploited by the very concepts you’re taught as necessary to your own survival.”
