PJ Harvey debuted a new song earlier this evening (May 15). 'The Crowded Cell' closed the first episode of Shane Meadows' new C4 drama series The Virtues.
The track will be heard over the credits of each of the four episodes of the series, which features BAFTA-nominated Stephen Graham (This is England, ’86, ’88, ’90, Boardwalk Empire, Taboo, Line of Duty) alongside Irish actors Helen Behan and Niamh Algar, and tackles themes of repressed memory, apocalyptic revenge and the hope of redemption.
