Glasgow outfit The Van T’s are back and in 'Control' with new single, out via Big Indie Records.
Premiered on Huw Stephens' BBC Radio 1 show, the track comes with plenty of grunge-infused attitude, and a touch of surfy-psych on the side, as rwin sisters Hannah and Chloe Van Thompson spill out the effortless harmonies.
“We had a fun time writing this track," say the band. "Ultimately, we wanted to capture a sense of having freedom in a situation where external factors may compromise this. These factors could be that you’re in a controlling relationship or perhaps work/stress is getting too much and is affecting your health. The song is essentially about taking back control of your life and confronting these issues one might be facing.”
You can catch The Van T’s live on May 8 at London’s Two Tribes Brewery. followed by The Great Escape on May 9.
