[Video] Stella Donnelly - Die

Directed by sister duo Juliana and Nicky Giraffe, Stella Donnelly shares her new video for ‘Die’, taken from the album 'Beware of the Dogs' released earlier this year via Secretly Canadian.

The clip features Donnelly dressed in dramatic and vibrant costumes, as she takes the viewer through four portrayals of death. Donnelly describes fear of mortality, delivering her concerns over sweet-sounding instrumentation and an upbeat rhythm.

"Stella told us she wrote 'Die' as a song for her to run to," say the directors. "There's a stark contrast between the title of the song and it's actual mood and musicality. We wanted to make a video that complimented the upbeat spirit while still touching on the idea of death. Couldn't have done it without our dog Thinly."

Having just completed a North American and European tour, including a sold-show at Scala earlier this week, Donnelly returns to her Australian home where she will play two sold-out shows at the Sydney Opera House for Vivid LIVE (May 28, 29) and support Maggie Rogers on her Australian tour (May 21 - June 1).

She returns to Europe to play a string of festival dates including Green Man Festival and End of the Road. Full dates below.
