The Honeymoon Suite return with their third single after a year's break.
Released last week, the Derby/ Nottingham-based pop-gaze four-piece go for a big summer chorus and a swathe of dreaminess on 'California Suite'. Washed out synths and hazy guitars, a solid bassline and melancholic lyrics add to the mix.
On the latter, the song, say the band, is "a letter to middle England, to our hometown of Derby (and particularly the suburb of California) and to growing up in the UK."
You can catch The Honeymoon Suite live on July 20 when they play The Old House in Sheffield as part of the Tramlines Fringe.
