Sunscreen have the kind of sound that the Australians have cornered the market on: light, infectious; twangy guitars and a moreish vocal.
This instantly likable title track from their new EP (out August 22 via Spunk Records), 'High Over Love, has all the aforementioned qualities - and a bonza vid - directed by Madeline Purdy - to boot, in this case; and if you're familiar with London, some of the station names that are shown might appear as if this was filmed in England, but no, all are Sydney-based.
The hooky 'High Over Love' with its soaring guitar riffs and Sarah Sykes’ delightful enigmatic vocal (and watchable visual presence) never sounding better, marks the first release from Sunscreen since their debut 2017 EP 'Just A Drop'.
