Listen :: Do Nothing - LeBron James
Words: Sam Geary
Nottingham art-rockers Do Nothing are building up a nice end to the year with their new track 'LeBron James', out now via Exact Truth.
Taking on hustlers, conmen and scammers, 'LeBron James' exacts a sharp, post-punk tongue, not least with Chris Bailey’s biting, and distinctively different vocal style, snapping out the caustic lyrics, amidst an array of funk rhythms.
"The name refers to William McFarland (the Fyre Festival guy) peddling tickets to fake events to gullible schmucks. It isn’t actually about LeBron James," states Bailey, alluding to one of the aforementioned's ruses was dinner with the American basketball player, LeBron James.
Check it out.
