After recently releasing new track ‘Headlock’, The Lottery Winners now unwrap its video partner.
The clip for the track - lifted from their self-titled debut album, out on March 13 via Modern Sky UK - was filmed in the band’s hometown of Leigh in Lancashire, and the band take us on a whistle-stop tour of their own backyard, stopping off for fish and chips, a flutter at the games arcade and their local hair salon for a short back and sides.
“The request to make a music video was sprung upon us, and we panicked,” explains frontman Thom Rylance. “There was no preparation or planning, we just went to Leigh with a camera and filmed where and what and who we saw. It’s not much, but it’s home”.
