Parisian garage outfit Film Noir stop off at ‘Château d’eau’
Words: Sam Geary
Parisian garage band Film Noir follow last year's debut EP ‘Vertiges (Men of Glory)’ with a new single, the first cut lifted from their incoming EP, ‘Tendrément,’ out on June 26.
The cinematic ‘Château d’eau’ (actually a station on the Paris Métro) sees the quintet, fronted by Joséphine de La Baume, sees brother Alexandre de La Baume supply the bluesy lead vocal against his sister's echoed layers, a steady bassline and Western style guitars.
The band were due over in the UK last month for a run of shows, now rescheduled to October. See Facebook for dates.
