It's been a while since we last heard from Brighton four-piece Black Honey, but now they are back and sounding on fine form with new single,'Beaches'.
The track is their first of 2020, following last year's 'I Don't Ever Wanna Love', and the release of their self-titled debut album in 2018.
"'Beaches' is cheeky twisted collage of all things weird, set to a playground clapping song," says frontwoman Izzy B Phillips, who also directed the video for the song, which was filmed during lockdown. "It’s all eye rolls, punk gigs and girls in polka dot bikinis. A nonsense filled retro world I wanna disappear into at times like these.”
