York-based noisemakers Cowgirl have shared new single, a blast of garage-rock fierceness, in a tune titled ‘Wasn’t Listening’.
Produced by Jamie Lockhart and Rob Slater at Greenmount Studios in Leeds, the two minutes of the blisteringly to-the-point statement of intent is a grunge-tinged monster wrapped up n a relatively short time.
‘Wasn’t Listening’ is taken from ‘New Additions: Vol 2’, a new compilation from Long Division Festival featuring artists who had been scheduled to play at this year’s festival.
The compilation - to be released on August 21 and available to pre-order here - will share all profits between the artists involved, with the vinyl edition pressed and supported by record label Last Night From Glasgow.
