Written and recorded during lockdown by the Glaswegian artist, ‘Useful’ shows another side to the more usual electric and upbeat, such as their July drop of 'Ghosted'.
Taken from the forthcoming ‘We Wish You All The Best’ EP, out on September 4 (comprising a collection of B-sides and new songs from their debut album), the gentle ‘Useful’ is a welcome taster.
The subtle, contemplative number is effective in its pared back lyrical honesty, lyrically, and sung with a raw emotion, aided by just an acoustic guitar and evocative harmonies, it makes for the best three minutes you might spend today.
