Hailing from Cambridgeshire, 'Heart Beats' is the debut single from duo Collars.
Out now on their own Laundry Rooms label, the DIY song was created during lockdown number 1, and described as a "homemade, neon-fuelled nostalgia fest," by Danielle and Kane.
A vibrant, pop-fuelled confession of lost loves, the track weaves guitar-led indie melodies with foot-tapping guitar and drums, with a touch of synth brought in midway. Dan's vocals add a nice ring to the three minutes with their engaging tone to make for an inspiring first effort.
