LA artist Ráj - whom we introduced
here last month, heads for the UK next week to make his London debut.
The new signing to the Bella Union label also reveals his brooding debut single 'Let Me Love You'.
Posting on Facebook a few hours ago (February 11), he writes:
"im a very lucky man. i have been fortunate enough to have been welcomed with open arms into a situation that allows me to write music, and release it when i feel comfortable and ready. it's early in my career, but the reactions i have received have allowed my own mind to feel comfortable, and confident in what i do. you guys and your reactions are what drive me to push myself, and push my work. i take what i do very seriously, and i feel like you have all received it in the same way. i try my best to put my honesty and heart into what i make. thank you for allowing me to do that. thank you for the kind words. thank you for the respect. i read everything you tweet / instagram / facebook me. i really do. fans are friends. its that simple. fans are friends. -r"

Ráj plays his first UK show on February 17, opening for The Neighbourhood at London’s XOYO.
