New York duo Tomboy make what they call "tasty pop songs", and they seem to be keeping the "tastiness" coming since they emerged last year.
The pair - Sarah Aument and William Shore - now follow up their icy electro-pop debut 'Roll Out' and the floaty 'Hang Out' with 'Moths'.
The new track is taken from their self-titled EP (to be released shortly), and features skittery, pulsing percussion, low beats and Aument’s delicate, yet forceful, vocal performance. The result is enigmatic sparse minimalism that is both stylish and competent.
