A new track arrives this month from Leicestershire-born, Glasgow-based electronic producer Tongues - Tim Kwant - who we featured here in January with 'Colours In The Dark'.
'Anymore', with its dark and compelling textures, dexterous arrangements of percussive beats, vocoder and electronics, gives an indication of why Tongues has been compared to fellow Scots Chvrches.
On describing how he works on an idea, he said in a recent interview that he tries to "replicate what I hear inside my head and then deconstruct and remake it.' If that is how 'Anymore' came about we can only hope Kwant keeps on hearing things just as good in his head in the future.
Tongues plays his debut gig on April 12 at Broadcast, Glasgow.
