Alternative indie/folk band Sloes unveil their debut track 'Devil In You', the lead cut from first EP offering, 'Chasing Tails', set for release in June.
The London five-piece - Jerome, Jo, Luke, Paul and Katie - play that kind of striking string-infused indie/folk (on this track utilising violin, courtesy of Katie, Jo's sister) that fuses electronic with acoustic and delicate strings, held together by darker toned brooding lyrics.
'Devil In You' is about trying to take a step back when you lose your cool and not responding without taking a few deep breaths first..("Showing remorse won't change the course / proclaiming your devotion / Your lover's disdain is set like clay / the wheels already in motion.")
