After their storming Great Escape appearance last week, Brooklyn psych three-piece Sunflower Bean have now scheduled their new single 'I Hear Voices' for release via Fat Possum on July 24.
Following their self-released debut EP, 'Show Me Your Seven Secrets', at the end of 2014, 'I Hear Voices' is an artful amalgam of garage-rock and psych, given the kind of muscular, yet melodic, coating of riffs and hazy dual vocals via vocalist/bassist Julia Cumming and guitarist Nick Kivlen, that shows why this young band have been picking up such word-of-mouth plaudits over the last year.
