Track Of The Day :: Yung - Blanket

The Aarhus Danes Yung follow the release of their 'Alter' EP back in March, with another work of equally sharp punk precision: new single, 'Blanket'.

Opening with waves of fuzz and distortion, 20-year-old frontman Mikkel Holm Silkjær's gravelly vocals, tear into a reverb-tinged, jangling guitars, whilst sliced in between the lyrics is a manic deliverance of chunky punk noise breakdown pieces.

Yung play The Stags Head, Hoxton, London on May 19 with Autobahn.

'Blanket' is released on July 24 digitally and on limited 500 vinyl via Tough Love Records.
