In a tweet earlier today, Adele confirmed what had been expected: a new album.

As we reported here on Sunday, her follow-up to '21', called '25', will be materialising next month, after working with the likes of Danger Mouse, Max Martin, Tobias Jesso Jr., and Ryan Tedder.
In the statement above that the singer linked to on Twitter and Facebook, she is non-committal as to the finer points of the album, such as songs or a firm release date (although as we previously mentioned, a rumoured date has been November 20), but says the new record is “a make-up record. I’m making up with myself. Making up for lost time. Making up for everything I ever did and never did.”
