Voices don't come much more pure, unadulterated and simply delightful than that of Singaporean songstress Linying.
'Alpine' - the follow-up to her equally captivating debut single 'Sticky Leaves' which we featured last month - like its name implies, is like a cool mountain breeze wafting through your ears. Its simplistic, minimalist nature shows what happens when you possess a voice like Linying's that winds itself around muted percussion and palpable beats and guitar riffs as she croons: “frosted in the tide/my only satellite/the only lullaby."Enchanting.
