TRACK OF THE WEEK
PLGRMS - GEMINI
Sydney electro-pop duo (singer-songwriter Jacob Pearson and multi-instrumentalist Jonathan Bowden, joined once again by Luke Davison of The Preatures on drums) follow-up 'Fools And Their Gokd' and ‘Pieces’ released last week via 0E0E. Vibrant synths and catchy drum beat play around Pearson's delectable vocals and engaging rhythms.




SINLESS - COOL
Taken from the upcoming EP, 'Melodie', 60s retro 'cool' from Portland, Oregon guitar-pop five-piece with their just released their new single. Jangly guitars, laid-back vocals, and grunge-tinged fuzzy pop melodies.




EXES - DEAR, HOME
From the LA duo's debut EP, 'The Art of Saying Goodbye' (out on October 7), and following last single 'Like You', vocalist Allie McDonald and producer Mike Dorenzo reveal electronic textures, and an array of delicately suffused beats and alluring vocals.




DIVES - FRESH AIR
Woozy soundscapes from the Sydney dream-psychgaze solo project from YEAH NAH YEAH, featuring label co-founder AJ The Aged One.




MY ELEPHANT RIDE - SAT IN TEARS
A blissed out psych trip, the third single off the Melbourne quartet's self-produced debut album 'Into the Jungle', released on Wigwam Records on Oct 28.



LET'S KILL JANICE - INTERFERENCE
Fuzzed-out, slacker pop vibes from the Bristol duo, out via Gravy Train Recordings on October 8 for International Cassette Store Day as a double A- side (w/'Smile & Gesture'). Catch live on October 8 at a free entry show at The Surrey Vaults, Bristol.




WALL - LAST DATE
Produced by Austin Brown of Parquet Courts, and taken from their July released self-titled EP - which gets a physical release on January 15 2017 via Wharf Cat - the Brooklyn post-punks provide a driving wall of noise with an arresting vocal.




TELESKOPES - CRIMINAL
Released earlier this month, the Los Angeles-based three-piece comprised of relocated Australian Fox Fagan (bass, vocals), and Pelle Hillstrom (guitar), and Jesper Kristensen (drums), come up with a big reverbed number here, that builds from subdued opening into cascades of drums and guitar.




FAT HEAVEN - NOWHERE
The New York punk three-piece return with a fierce two minutes-20 of squally, upbeat noise-pop, the first track off their debut LP 'Tough Luck' (expected before the end of the year).




SNAKE HEART SOCIETY - TONIGHT
Digitally released this month from the Phoenix, Arizona duo - Keith Walker (The Holy Coast, Sister Cities, Being Cool Is Lonely, MILK Parade) and Billy Truant - a dark and haunting track with shades of 80s era Depeche Mode/Pet Shop Boys, taken from their debut album 'Exist and Exit', released November.
