Watch :: The Hubbards do a 'who'd live in a house like this?' on Just Touch video
Words: Ellie Ward
"Shot in one take by Josh Moore", the new single from The Hubbards, 'Just Touch', arrives with a glossy video, directed by Moore, that you can at least watch, if not touch exactly.
The Leeds-based Hull-ites deliver the woozy part pop, part grunge ‘Just Touch’ on March 31 via Scruff Of The Neck Records, which follows last year's debut EP, ‘Cold Cut’. The track, say the band, is about "not really knowing who or what you want. It’s about jealousy and confusion and the idea that a bit of physical attention is gonna make it all better. It’s not a love song, it’s much more superficial than that."
Check out the clip below which follows The Hubs on a property trek in and out of neighbouring mates’ houses.
The Hubbards play Holy Trinity Church, Leeds on March 24 with The Opera Comic and Apollo Junction, followed by:
March 31 - Fruit, Hull
April 01 - Gullivers, Manchester
April 21 - Rocking Chair, Sheffield
April 28 - Old Blue Last, London
