Listen :: Brooklyn's Fruit & Flowers unveil debut EP

Words: Leah Raymond

Check out 'Subway Surfer' and 'Out Of Touch', two tracks from the just released (June 30) debut 'Drug Tax' EP (on Little Dickman Records) by Brooklyn foursome Fruit & Flowers.

The EP was co-produced by John Thayer at Thump Studios in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, and sees the garage "surf noir" outfit - fronted by the effusive vocalist/bassist Caroline Yoder, with Ana Becker and Lyzi Wakefield on guitar, and drummer Jose Berrio - exude an abundance of chugging riffs, soaraway power chords and barbed vocals.
