Norwegian band Sløtface unveiled their new single ’Backyard’ last week (September 1), ahead of their much-anticipated debut album, 'Try Not To Freak Out', which drops on September 15 via Propeller Recordings.
Led by vocalist Haley Shea, ’Backyard’ is a groovy Breeders style verse allows her voice to work around a snarl to shout about childhood tales of mischief and discovery, before the song decends into an all out noisefest to finish. It's brimming with punk energy right from the off and will surely captivate anyone who wants something more from their guitars than The 1975.
