Upcoming tour buddies Catholic Action and Kagoule stream massive new tracks

Words: Jacob Ball

Ahead of a joint tour together in November, Glaswegian indie favourites Catholic Action and Nottingham's eclectic noise makers Kagoule have both put out thrilling new releases.

Kagoule come flying out of the blocks with abrasive, scuzzy guitars and winding vocal harmonies on their MJ produced ‘Monsieur Automaton’, inspired by Terminator 2. Channelling their inner Demob Happy, they prove their undoubted potential to break through the underground scene.

Their Scottish counterparts prefer to start slower and draw you in with 'Black & White' as singer Chris McCrory's superb vocals flow perfectly over a brilliantly soaring vocal melody. The single comes as a foretaste of their debut album, ‘In Memory Of’, which is due on October 20.

Both releases showcase why these bands are exciting fans around the UK and confirm that their tour later this year will be a 'must-see'.
