Listen :: Lull seek a 'Sea Change' with third EP

Words: Sam Geary

We have not heard a lot of Lull of late, not in fact since their 'Bubble Tea' of two years ago.

But now the London four-piece return with their third EP 'Sea Change', which came out on November 3.

You can hear its title track below. Swells of hazy vocals spin under waves of noise, and in a departure from the band's usual recording style, everything on the record except vocals and a handful of overdubs was recorded live in pursuit of a more raw sound.

Founded on a mutual love of shoegaze and the guitar-based attack of 90s alternative rock bands such as Smashing Pumpkins, Hum and My Bloody Valentine, Lull formed in 2014 and features vocalist/guitarist Jon Billinge, guitarist Toby Dutton, bassist Simon Hann and drummer Filipe Fernandes

NOVEMBER
18 London The Engine Rooms Studio
23 Cardiff Gwdihw (w/ Yossarian)

DECEMBER
