[Video] Strong Asian Mothers - Hard To Find

London-based trio Strong Asian Mothers are back with a new single and video.

The clip, above, to 'Hard To Find' was directed by the band's Amar Chadha-Patel, and video partner Tom Allen (Tom & Amar) - was inspired by a reccurring visual Tom Allen had of the band singing with expressionless faces while floating through space. The idea, and subsequent video quickly evolved into the band--along with a team of willing cohorts--travelling through space, destroying a space station, and defeating its evil owner.

“Our initial ideas for a ‘Hard To Find’ music video were completely all over the place, with the main contender actually circling around Where’s Wally,” reveals Amar.

“I am part of a film director duo called Tom + Amar, with a friend called… Tom. After listening to the track together Tom mentioned a reoccurring visual of the band singing with expressionless faces while floating through space. It immediately sparked interest with us and a week later Tom had a refined treatment for a pretty insane music video. I remember saying to Tom, “We love it, but can we do this?” and him replying “probably not”. So obviously we did it anyway.”

Strong Asian Mothers play London’s Oslo on November 30.
