Pirate Studios Prodigy Programme announces its 10 artist shortlist





Pirate Studios ground breaking Prodigy Programme, backed by some of the biggest names in the music biz, is now down to its final 10 artists.

In just 14 days, thousands of fans have voted for their favourite acts from a shortlist of 30, which was whittled down from over 2,000 entries.

10 acts now remain and have made it through to the final round for their chance to win everything they need to break in 2018 backed by influential chart hit-makers Kate Nash, Jon McClure and the teams behind Liam Gallagher, Charli XCX and The Libertines. The 3 winners will be announced May 18.

The Surrenders: electric rhythm blues and soul band from Birmingham



Violet Youth: deep, atmospheric and anthemic indie from Blackburn 



Youth Killed It: bolshy, free-flowing Norwich indie-punk five-piece 



Yves: Swindon indie-rock three-piece
