Little Indie #Blogtoberfest featuring... THE K'S

'Tis the month of October and that can only mean one thing: #Blogtoberfest. Once again the highlight of the London music scene will see 31 free gigs take place at North London The Finsbury across the month, curated by some of the finest online music sites in the UK.

Little Indie's show will take place on Saturday October 27 and we will be playing host to four emerging bands that have impressed us over the last 12 months. From Cardiff we have teen four-piece AL MOSES with their debut single imminent; attitude and riff-laden trio from Leicester, THE LIDS; newly hatched and raring to go, Fife four-piece PARIS STREET REBELS, and driving Newton-le-Willows quartet who put the kick ass in K, THE K's.

Entrance is free, but to secure admittance it is advisable to order a ticket beforehand from here. But if you can't plan ahead or just decide on the day you want to come along, you should still be able to get in! If it looks like selling out we will keep you informed by social media in good time.

Over the last few days we have been highlighting each of our four bands to give you a taste of what to expect on the night. Today we conclude with THE K'S.

After a fallow 2016, The K's re-emerged last year with the blistering 'Sarajevo'. Their wiry guitar and bombastic drum sound with the scathingly raw vocals of Jamie Boyle, brought them fans both live and on record - including us! But it was this summer's supremely infectious 'Got A Feeling' from our 'One To Watch 2018' band that really left us impressed.

Ahead of their set next weekend for Little Indie, we asked them a few quick questions.
As one of Little Indie's top four for our #Blogtober night, tell readers a little about yourselves, where you're from and what you've done.

We’re The K’s. A four-piece from Earlestown in the North West of England. After forming in 2017, we’ve had nearly a million plays on Spotify and sold out every North West headline show we’ve played. And now we aim to continue this on a national scale.

For those who haven't seen or heard of you before, sum up your style and sound in a few sentences.

Smart as fuck, raw as fuck.

What would you say is the most vital aspect of your live performance?

Guaranteed energy. Give it 100% all show, every show.

Name one song in your set that really works the room.

'Sarajevo', our debut single, which is currently reaching 800,000 plays on Spotify alone, so it's safe to say it’s a crowd favourite.

If folks want to check you out before the night, where can they find you online?
