After an absence of two years, Palace return with a new single and a planned early 2019 tour.
'Heaven Up There', out today (October 19) via Fiction Records, is a lengthy (seven-minutes-plus) and typically Palace-like, thoughtful offering. Leo Wyndham's lush voice floats over unobtrusive percussion and melancholic guitar strains, as the song lyrically contemplates one's own existence, touches on the realisation that there is something bigger beyond our life on earth. The piece emphasises the overall message of hope that accompanies the song, despite its initial feeling of sadness.
