'Minding The Haze’ with Imperial Daze
Words: Sam Geary
London psych-pop foursome Imperial Daze precede their upcoming second EP ‘Surfaces Sensibles' - out on June 7 via Tip Top Recordings - with a taster in ‘Minding the Haze’.
The track - which the band describe as "a melancholic picture of a fleeting, hazy summer spent as a teenager, engrossed in youthful romance, wilful boredom and insouciance" - was co-produced once again by the band and Rupert Jarvis of The Maccabees, and was recorded between The Drugstore (The Maccabees studio) and their
own studio.
Listen to the slice of rippling psychedelia below.
