Impossibly pronounced Auckland-based electronic duo Imugi 이무기 (the Japanese for 'moth') drop their new single 'Be Here Soon' with a colourful 360° video.
Yery Cho (also of bb gurl) and producer Carl Ruwhiu deliver an animated visual treatment by Nic Little to accompany the easy-going dance-pop track, which Cho describes as about "falling into misconceptions. Waiting around endlessly for promises made by your own expectations. It's easier to dissociate than face the fact that no one really needs anyone but themselves. It's an ode to leaving behind disappointing relationships and moving onto embrace the many forms of self-care that self-love can bring.”
Imugi 이무기 play Auckland's The Powerstation tomorrow (April 18) supporting Jungle.
