What more could you ask for than a cover of the perennial classic 'White Christmas' to celebrate Yuletide, and Talkboy bring their own unique festive cheer with their rendition, which comes with a tongue-in-cheek video.
Recorded, produced and mastered by the Leeds-based band, the song, says guitarist Tim Malkin, "was recorded at my house and as a result had a few interesting issues to overcome - stuff that happens at any high end studio I guess, microphones taped to the ceiling and socks over coat hangers for pop shields to name just a couple."
The video, directed by Alex Kershaw, features Tim and vocalist Katie Heap on the hunt for Saint Nick around the rural areas of Leeds. "I’m sure you can tell from the video, that was also a lot of fun to make. Being in a band really does throw you into situations that you would never normally find yourself in," Tim adds.
