New Zealand's PGX stream debut EP 'Naïve'

Words: Sam Geary

Four-piece all-girl band PGX - Hannah Herchenbach, Mary Lyon Train, Charlie Fischer and Jenny Duncan - who hail from Christchurch, New Zealand have just dropped their debut EP.

Produced by Brian Feary, the four-track 'Naïve' kicks off with the fuzzy, revved-up 'Mopeds', before moving on to the slower 'Chocolate Factory', where Hannah and Mary join on vocals. 'The Shortest Year' is an infectiously spiky punk sub-three minute grower, that leads to closer 'Peter Gutteridge' where they pay a fuzzy tribute to the late Kiwi musician of The Chills.

Worth a listen.

Little Indie recommends: 'The Shortest Year', 'Peter Gutteridge'
