Llovers reveal a self-isolation common theme - ‘I Don’t Want To Be Alone’

Teesside quintet Llovers, who were 'Feeling Sound' earlier in the year, pre-lockdown, are now back with a new feeling, expressed in a new tune: ‘I Don’t Want To Be Alone’.

Released yesterday (June 18), the title track of their forthcoming EP, although aptly named for present tines, was in fact written last year, long before the 'C' word took over.

“The track is about the dependency we have on each other and how this can lead to anxieties about loneliness, often falsely amplifying feelings you have for another," explains vocalist Jack Brooks, about the iridescent, jangly delight, delivered with engaging melodies twinkling around reverbed vocals.
