North London-based alt-indies Gardening - formally known as Mirror Shot - unveil 'Second Sight', their first single under their new moniker.
Recorded on all-analogue equipment in an ancient studio, the track is an infectious galloping, fuzzy sprint, with melodic riffs of intertwining guitars and lyrical wit.
With lyrics “ironically recasting anxiety and pessimism as the world’s shittiest superpowers”, according to songwriter Niall Rush, “it was a live staple, back in the good ol’ days of playing gigs - great for inflicting a bit of hearing damage on our victims in the crowd”.
