A hands in the air, festival arena number is this newbie from Wigan's finest The Lathums (a Little Indie Band To Watch this year), their first for Island Records and what looks and sounds like the start of even bigger things for the quartet.
'All My Life', fresh off the press today (July 3) - along with the vinyl release of debut EP ‘The Memories We Make’ - is a shiny, bright indie-pop gem, with cascading bright melodies, tight guitars, and the Northern vocal inflection from frontman Alex Moore lending charm, the kind one of their admitted influences, The Housemartins, were given to exude back in the day.
Rearranged tour dates, postponed due to you-know-what, with Blossoms, DMAs and Paul Weller are on the cards post-lockdown, so expect The Lathums to become a familiar name once gigging life returns to normal.
