We heard them earlier this year with 'Dreaming That I'm Not In Love', now indie-pop five-piece Stay Lunar get their gloves off for a sharp three minutes of synth-led pop on 'Not Your Fight'.
The Bristol/Swindon-based outfit sound poised and confident on this latest Sugar House-produced track, which was released last week, and what they feel is "our best song yet".
“I want to run away with you / escape from all the light-polluted city hues/ I"ll tell you things I’d like you to know / the world doesn’t spin as the TV show / this is not your fight," they sing on the frantic, but dreamy 'Not Your Fight'. Lyrically telling of the struggles of trying to help someone with an addiction, its sombre message is tempered by bouncing synths, a driving bassline and sparkling guitars.
