Abbie McCarthy's Good Karma Club on tour around the UK in April

BBC presenter and DJ Abbie McCarthy (BBC Music Introducing, Radio 1’s Live Lounge Uncovered) will be taking Leeds indie band of the moment Marsicans on tour around the UK in April.

Good Karma Club, Abbie’s monthly night at the Sebright Arms, has become a firm fixture for showcasing hot new bands from all over the UK, and last year, both Marsicans’ headline tour and Abbie’s first Good Karma Club tour with the Academic, Sea Girls and Zuzu were nationwide sell-outs.

Asked about this year's tour, Abbie says: “‘I’m so excited for Round Two of the Good Karma Club on tour and couldn’t think of a better, more exciting new band to headline every night. Marsicans always deliver live and have so many great songs to unleash next year. Supporting them on each of the 8 dates will be acts I’ve handpicked specially, all excellent artists that you need on your radar and all your playlists. I’ll be DJ’ing every night too. It’s going to be a lot of fun - bring it on!’

Details of the 8-date run are as follows:
