London duo IDER have shared their with first new material of the year with the release of ‘Brown Sugar’, out now via Glassnote.
Premiered on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show, the track - produced by Rodaidh McDonald - follows IDER’s 2018 singles ‘You’ve Got Your Whole Life Ahead Of You Baby’ and ‘Mirror’ - which helped tip duo Lily Somerville and Meg Markwick over a massive 20,000,000 online streams.
Explaining their thoughts on ‘Brown Sugar’ and its simmering energy, Somerville and Markwick said, “We once heard that a great song is one you either want to dance to, cry to or have sex to. This is the last.”
